I am having some fuel related problems that I will talk about in depth next week.
In order to solve them I am going to construct a new fuel module to replace the plastic fantastic Dodge nightmare currently reeking havoc on my pumps now.
My thoughts are aluminum can with a 1/2" fuel pickup and a capacitive fuel level sender. Also considering installing the water in fuel sensor in the tank also. All fittings on top will be NPT female and include Fuel supply, VP-44 return, FASS return, Roll over valve and a spare 3/8 hole or two just in case I want to install a temperature probe or something. My original plan was to build a whole new tank but after thinking about it a fuel module will suffice.
Any ideas welcome, especially any ideas on a fuel sump. I see Fords and most others do not use a sump so to speak just a suction tube about a 1/2" from the bottom of the tank.
Fire away!!!
