I just had my dodge dealer install a fuel pressure gauge and my readings seem low. I am seeing about 7psi at idle and can pull it down to 3psi. Cruising speeds seem to be around 5-6psi. Is this low? I have an isolator and it looks like they but it to the cp3 via banjo bolt. Any thoughts?

I have read in some old threads that some members are seeing 18psi at idle?

I doubt that's with a stock LP. Stock LP should run exactly what you're seeing.

The in-tank version might be higher pressure. People with aftermarket pumps commonly see 18psi or more at idle.

I just had a fuel pressure gauge installed on my 05 and at idle and crusing it reads about 9 psi and I have pulled it down to 5 psi and was told that you can pull it down to 3 psi with out hurting anything. I installed a 2 micron fuel filter from GDP after the stock filter with there big hose kit that has an ID of about 3/8" compared with the stock 1/4" that was feeding the IP from the stock fuel filter. The gauge tee was put into the hose down stream from the 2 micron fuel filter. I had the tap put there so that I can moniter the condition of the filters so that I know when to change them if I get some bad fuel.
