First of all, thanks to all the welcomes and visits to my post regarding the NORCAL DIESEL RALLY, I do have a question relating to the clock that is being used to post times on this site.



I see times that are usually 8 or 9 hours different from the times I post, can anyone tell me what time zone is being used, is this site on GMT?



Just kind of confusing for a new guy with an "alternate" diesel truck almost 16 years old...



can anyone enlighten me



(on the time thing, I can't afford a different brand truck)

Click user cp at the top of this page then click edit options to set your time zone. If you aren't logged on when you visit the time will be wrong (for you at least).

unless you set your time zone as illflem suggested, the time is listed in GMT--Greenwich Mean Time. i think that is England time zone. if you choose your time zone, the time will be corrected to your time zone before displayed.

Since we're on the subject,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and I really didn't pay much attention in school ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,What does the term "Greenwich Mean Time" exactly stand for???,,,,,,,,,,,,,,AND,,,,,,,,, is there such a thing as "Greenwich Nice Time"

Universal Time (abbreviated UT) has replaced GMT. Greenwich, Eng. happens to be where 0° latitude is.

Prior to 1925, in astronomical and nautical almanacs, a day of Greenwich Mean Time began at noon. This reckoning of Greenwich Mean Time is now called Greenwich Mean Astronomical Time, and is no longer used.
