... So I'm Pa Pitt .. Same handle here as on several other sights.. I'm 67+ years old. .. I've had a 1990 D2500 past & For about the last 10 years I've had my 2000 D2500 24v. auto. It's at 325K. NICE TRUCK BUT IT'S FUEL MILEAGE IS TERRIBLE about 15 maybe.

So about 6 weeks ago my twin grand sons, with my help bought a 1989 D2500 1ST GEN. Auto . farm truck. It was the very 1st Diesel truck sold at Lampasas Texas dealership. Sold ...

I had planned to buy it for a year but just never went & got it. But the Grand Sons wanted it .. So much to the wifes Dismay we drug it home. Put a battery on it & She runs. Man It had been treated bad on it's old farm stead .. But it's a farm truck .. It's so old it doesn't have a factory fuel filter .. It has an added ogzelery [REMOTE] filter added . I'D NOT SEEN THAT BEFORE. I worked for a Dodge Dealership from 2004 until 2011.. I was the service advisor. So I got to see a lot of these model trucks.
THEIR PLANS & MINE DIFFER for this old Truck. They want to make it new again. I wanted to strip the cab & fenders off & add a 1953+r- Studebaker pick-up cab & Build a flat bed . But It runs good .. oLD Guys son we got it from says It HAS had Amsoil 15w40 since it was new. It never has had a Gooseneck hitch in it.

Also I have a 1972 Bronco HALF Cab with a 4BT Cummins ..NP435..DANA20. Twin Sticks. 3:55 Lockers F&R. I also have on my farm a 1980 Bronco 300 cid 4speed NP435 .. & 1995 V8 ZJ 4X4 ,not going completely GOING yet. & My daily DRIVER 1995 ZJ 4.0L 4X4.. So we have several 4x4's on the farm.

so Why can't I put these statements in PARAGRAPHS .. I'D HAVE PUT MY INTRODUCTION ALL IN ONE post. If I could have made paragraphs. Do I not have something turned on. But I'm a farmer PLUS I work in town still. I like to hunt ... Drink Beer & BBQ. & SPIN YARNS .. I live in Stephenville Texas.76401. Each year we go to New Mexico, Corona for an annual hunting trip. there is an issue with the forum software, why using the quick reply box to type, you can press the return key but eh cursor does not move.

however when you press it and keep typing and post it. it'll show where you pressed the return key. kinda a PITA.
