My truck has been driven for SO long with yellow, worn out lenses that I just have to upgrade them. Actually one lens fell out a couple of weeks ago so I'm now driving with ONE headlight. I have the TDR77 Sport lens and brite box article from TDR, so I will get Geno's sport lens headlight assemblies for passenger and drivers side and the brite box (w/ fog lights as my truck has them).
My question is: Are there LED headlights out there that are an improvement from regular halogen headlights? I know that my 1994 doesn't use a relay to lower the current that goes through the light switch, and I've replaced the switch at least once already, so I like the idea of less current going through the switch that would be the result of using LED lights.
Or is there a lack of good LED lights or some other reason I should stick with the stock type halogens?
Thanks for any info!
PS This is for my 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbodiesel.
