I test drove an 04 "600" yesterday. It didn't seem to have much more zip than my 99. Also why would they put tow hooks on the front of a vehicle with a Cummins in it? bg

I've gotten stuck twice in just the last few weeks. I wish I had tow hooks.

As far as the zip goes, the 600 is tight while yours is broke in. My truck has been getting zippier and zippier the more that I drive it. It has less than 500 miles on it and I can already tell a difference.

Is your 99 stock? I came from a 2001 HO and I think there is a noticeable difference between it and the 600.



The tow hooks are on there to pull people out, not to get pulled out...

My new 600 is not as snappy as the bombed '01 was but I am very satified with the truck so far. Only 450 mi. on the clock.
