Just read this on the Alpar website:

DC Show: Diesels ahead of schedule (January 23 2007, 10 AM)

The Ram 2500 and 3500 will be getting a new Cummins 6. 7 liter turbodiesel engine that meets EPA standards for 2010 - and it will be available in March, 2007, alongside a new Grand Cherokee Limited powered by a diesel that meets 2010 standards as well. Tom LaSorda made the announcement this morning at the DC Auto Show, accompanied by a representative from the EPA and the head of Cummins. For details, see our Grand Cherokee and Ram pages.

Well, how about this

I saw this one on the Diesel Technology Forum yesterday. Maybe someone already posted it somewhere else, but I figure it's general diesel.

Dodge to Offer All-New Cummins Light-Duty Clean Diesel

WASHINGTON -- Let the diesel duels begin.

Armed with new Cummins clean-diesel technology, Dodge will introduce an all-new turbodiesel engine in its light duty pickup trucks after 2009. The new engine will provide a dramatic increase in low-end torque, up to a 30-percent improvement in fuel efficiency and a 20-percent reduction in carbon dioxide (C02) emissions when compared to an equivalent gasoline engine.

Is this the new V8 Cummins we have been hearing about?
