New injectors: +78hp & +122 ft-lbs

A friend of mine just bought an '03 2500 HO. The dealer told him Dodge has a factory approved BOMB of high output injectors that add 78hp and 122 ft-lbs torque to the HO. Cost approx $1000 installed. No programming changes, just injectors. Engine and truck will still be warrany covered.



Anyone heard of this or confirmed it or tried it on their truck?



383hp and 677 ft-lbs sounds real nice!!

I suppose if they never checked the injectors when you went in for warrenty work that it wouldn't be void

Wild guess: They're selling DD injectors? Since the injectors are done on exchange, they would have the factory part number so even if they did look, they still couldn't tell. Am I right?

What in the world is Dr Performance? I looked on thier website and I can't figure out what it is that they make.

My dealer said the same thing --might be something to it. He didn't quote any numbers on price or power gains.

Thanks for reminding me to ask about it next time i'm near that dealer.

I think he did it for the 2nd G 24 valvers and just assumed he could on the 3 g's

Mind you this is the same dealer that put a jake e-brake on my auto transmission under warranty (so is he a pioneer or a putz0

I looked into this today... .



Yes, there is a dealer in Oregon that is installing Extrude honed injectors, but I think a Pyro is optional (not very bright on the part of the installer IMO).



This is being done at Timberline Dodge in Portland.



They are not DD or Bullydog Injectors.
