I am looking at my first mod and am seriously considering a set of bosch injectors off ebay. They claim to be 300hp injectors, but have the rv 275 part number (part number 0 432 193 635) will this be a good start, especially since i am running a stock clutch, check my sig for truck info, I have been bitten bye the BOMB bug but am limited on funds, will they be worth 280. 00 or should i just wait till i can afford a clutch and box and everything. i guess my main question is power gain enough on the HO engines to offset the cost, will i be able to sell them when it is time to upgrade to something bigger as cost permits, and are they an overall good injector.

For your HO truck a set of injectors will do you more good than a timing box. RV275's are a good "safe" injector that will give you more power with minimal EGT increase and low smoke. You might want to find a Boost Fooler so you can add some extra boost for your extra fuel. RV275's should be alright with your stock clutch as long as you don't get crazy with lugging it. $280. 00 for a "new" set or a used set? Unless the price has gone up seems a bit steep for a used set.

I have also heard an HO likes bigger injectors better than a box for a first upgrade. You will notice a difference, but not much. Your clutch will, most likely, be happy still for a long while. I have a standard output and upgraded to the 275s and noticed a bit more power and smoke and slightly higher EGTs. Mileage seems to be about the same, but I'm probably having fun with it. No boost fooler yet, but will soon.

BTW, the eBay injectors ARE standard RV275s... seems somebody started advertising them as 300hp injectors and everyone else thought they had to keep up or something. I hate false advertising. (I realize they use these injectors in other applications that generate 300hp, but these are marketed to us and in OUR trucks, they are standard issue RV275s.

BTW, I had my emissions test done after the install (on a dyno) and they added 28 HP at the rear wheels... probably 50-ish more torque. So DO NOT BELIEVE the hype that they add 40 or 65 more hp at the rear wheels... they do NOT! Again, I hate false advertisers.
