what do I have to do to fit a newer intercooler in an older truck??such as one from a 91-93 or 94-99,2001-2003 to my 90??? worthit or just call BANKS??

WIth your 90, you will need to modify the grille to fit it in. I am looking to fit a 2nd gen cooler in my 11/90 "91" but I also have the newer style grille and a shop full of cool tools and gadgets. Hit 38 psi tonight, fuel pin at 60%. Strong headwind, and cool air. TIme to intercool it and get hte pressures down, or will the intercooler do that?

I saw a 2nd gen intercooler in a 1st gen last weekend at the New England cookout. I think it was a 1990 truck.

Truck is owned by Deo (rabbittree) and I'm sure you could pm him and get details.

He had made some grill mods and fabbed some mounting brackets. The intercooler was mounted "upside down" with the inlet/outlet on top. He didn't have it plummbed yet... he was on a scrounging mission at the meet for elbows, pipes and clamps.



Bottom line is that it's doable. Keep us posted... some of us are interested.
