New ISBe Injector problems????

My problem is on my "space shuttle", I can see the 1 3 5 wires and plugs but the other 5 are missing ?? Where, oh where could they be (Mary's little lamb chops?) Of course if we talking about the Cummins, its still missing in action so dont know if I got the 7/8 option or if I only gonna get the 1-6 "I" option. Any of those that have this option, could you PLEASE assist? This might make me go to a a a - no dont think so. Will stick to the Furd owned CumminGs options wrapped by a Dodge..... that way the Furd owners can get more mill-ege out of their blocks (at least we dont get the al-u-min-emum option ).

Ford, years ago, had a partial interest in Cummins but sold their stock.

Don't believe in the tooth fairy or Sant Claus - jury is still out on the Easter Bunny. If you notice all thru this thread, every reference to ford or the missing 7 & 8 cylinders, we refer to cumminGs not cummins. We do appreciate your info 'cuz there are still a few out there - mainly psd owners, that still believe the ford ownership story. Good to have you around.

Hmmm wait for the ford cummings

I use to own a 1990 F-250 7. 3 NA and started having Dodge Cummins envy from the very start. Before the Ford I had a 1976 Mercedes 240d the whole time I drove the Ford I always felt that the Mercedes was more of a real diesel (right down to fueling up at the truck pump) a feat the Ford could not do. The Mercedes engine was heavier duty (granted less HP) than the ford and much easier to work on.



I kept waiting and waiting for Ford to put in there Cummin(g)s so last year I got tired of waiting. My brother did not help any with his heavily BOMBed 2nd gen "Blackout" went out and got an 03. Now all the Ford guys (4) of them in the neighborhood think I committed sacrilege however one of them is nibbling on a new 03 HO I think he likes the quiet cummins even when I go by his house on a cold start morning.



As far as the cramped cab at Christmas we piled 7 in my Quad Cab 3 adults 3 teens 1 child for a 2 hour (one way) trip to Grandmas and nobody complained in fact my Brother-in-law is now thinking of trading in his Nissan pathfinder with leather option for a 03 QC.....



I looked at all the trucks before getting the Dodge and I must say the Dodge dealers were more fun than Chevy and Ford's in fact the Ford dealers really help tip the scale toward Dodge and if GM is professional grade then Dodge must be industrial grade!

... . let the ford guys chew on that awhile I am sure the GM guys are in the driveway fixing broken running gear and not reading post here... ... .

WHAT! NO tooth fairy or Santa. :--) I saw Santa get out of a blue 2003 6. 0 torque slip power joke and use his customer one card from MY phone and then took the keys to MY 1993 W250 to finish the job. Did do a little criping about rough riding sob but left with a smile and said THANKS as he left in a cloud of SMOKE.

In November, 2001, FMC announced plans to offer a 2003 F-450 Pickup with the High Capacity towing option that would give it the 30,000 GCWR of their F-550.



As everyone now knows, they lied again, just like they did with the Original Mustang [the 2-seater that they never marketed].



Once it became obvious that they had reneged, I went looking for the best-rated pickup to use as an RV tow vehicle.



Thanks to residual nerve damage, I knew that I'd have to go with an automatic.



With the announcement of the HO/48RE combination I found it, then had to teach the "green" salesman about it.



While waiting for the truck to arrive, I learned here, and elsewhere, about the problems being encountered with the 6. 0 PSD - the very one that I'd have had if FMC had kept their word!



Now that I'm getting to put a few miles on it, I couldn't be happier with the situation. :-laf

2) how come Dodge spent so much time and effort with the new cab, but not much with the bed? For example, there is a ton of room in front of the rear tires that could be used as a "tool box" that opens up like a "glove box". That would be innovative and useful!

Excellent idea lrutigliano. I thought I was the only one that wanted the "tool box" compartment back like the way they were in the sixties! (OK, I'm not that old but it sure looked like a great idea).

This would be a great gadget for the aftermarket to come up with wouldn't it?
