Very nice. Looks like one is a "non-stock" truck and the other could be for stock class. Is one a CTD?

The KORE truck is Hemi powered and runs in the "stock full" class. KORE has been racing this class for several years with the Diesel truck, and now has built up a HEMI that they will be racing next week.

What about Kore's other team trucks - Worthington, take Canadian outfit, or the Tenn one? Any of those running a Cummins. Is Donhaue still running that Powerjoke? Just curious at to what #2 power vehicle will be in Baja.

In one of the new offroad magazines(cant remember which one) they had a half page story in the first few pages on the Mopar backed race trucks in the Baja 1000, guess what KORE's truck was never mentioned nor was the company talked about, to me that says something, what fill in with your own conclusion :D. They were cheering somebody else that they helped :-laf.

If there was a mopar sponsored kore baja 1000 truck in the race it was never mentioned in the article, nothing absolutely nothing. Almost like they realized that they made a huge mistake collaborating with kore or embarrassed that the truck never finished:-laf

It's bad enough that "we" ran them off, but some folks in retardant suits can't seem to outgrow their issues. Guess the latter applies.

did any of the other companys truck finish like carli or are we just bashing kore again

Yes,the Big Dog truck running Carli suspension ran in class 8 and finished even after some pretty big down time due to driver error (8 hrs). The truck rolled broke a walker Evans wheel, damaged another it went over so hard. Sage and Mike got it up and running again to get it across the line in time.

Sounds like an "interesting" course again this year. Any idea of the % of DNFs?

And thanks for the straight-up feedback, as usual Bob4x4!

I don't know the # on the dnf's but there were a l of a lot more in contingency than went by any of the ck points I was waiting at :-laf

Truth be told, We were picked up late in the game as a sponsored truck by Mopar. There was certainly no huge mistake or embarrassment. Mopars unveiling at SEMA was for there future off road racing program. We will continue to race with the help and support of Mopar, but the truck does look a little different now...

Congratulations to Big Dogs green class 8 truck for getting across the line. That thing should have raced stock full to be more competitive though. The 3rd place stock full Dodge of HRT driven by Kevin Ostlund and gang, finished ahead of the Class 8 truck even with 5 or more hours of down time themselves. We were dead for several hours before the class 8 truck rolled by us, even though they started more than an hour before. Come race with us slow trucks in stock full, it's fun...

San Felipe250 anybody? The General Tire KORE hemi will be racing stock full, look forward to seeing you all down there.
