Has anyone tried the new coloured LED bulbs for the Isspro line of guages???

I wonder if they really make a big difference over the stock bulbs with the coloured "socks" that go over the bulb.

I find that the illumination/brightness is not that great with the old style bulb/sock combo???

thanks.....

Pastor,

I just got an Isspro tach and it didn't have any kind of cover for the bulb. I colored them with a Sharpie pen, and they are still very bright. Almost too bright. I am about to get LEDs to replace the 194 bulbs in my dash. Will post results.

The ISSPRO EV w/a clear bulb is far to bright. Distracting. Annoying even. I HAD to install them little bulb cover/rubber things.

Jay, get your mind out of the gutter, boy!

I saw them in the latest Isspro cataloge. I didn't have time to stop and do a good read thru but I will the next chance I get.

The "older" gauges seem to have poorer illumination than the later ones... . I know mine are hard to see, even at night...

I may order some and see how they work out... I'll let y'all know what shakes

Quit staring at the gauges and watch the road before you have an "incident". :D

From the comments I was expecting problems. A quick set of the dimmer and no problems. After 600 miles in the dark, the rain, and the snow mine are just fine with the clear bulbs.

Or I need to clean my glasses... ... ;)
