Well changing the fuel filter, slapping in a new lift pump, slapping in AFE filter, slapping in KwikKurt HX40, slapping in Ray T's Banjo bolts.

Hopefully I can pick up a lil more hp and go a lil faster Sunday in the ¼ !! Also gonna shift out of 4 wheel drive after launching..... I think 13. 75 is very very possible.

Lift pump was manufactured Oct 23 of this year. 3990105 Just hope I didn't tear nuthing up with it sliding around in the bed while I got in a few races ..... oh well. :D No I don't have a fuel pressure gauge (shame on me) I am jsut doing this for my own piece of mind.

Kat race

Are you racing at KC again, I'd love to make it up sometime but that is a planned road trip from me, Let us know how you do Sun.

kat , while you have the bolts out pull the line between the lift pump and the filter , remove the banjo fittings from the hose and look at the barbed end , the hole is about 3/16's . put it in a vise with something to protect the ends the gasket seal againt from the vice jawss and i think you can drill them out in steps to 9/32 , bill saw an increse that was equal to the banjo bolt mods from this alone . i ditched that line and put in a sttraight -6 line and fittings , i have actually ditched all the banjos in favor of -6 lines . never goes below 6psi with a carter hp pump in the stock location.

Duh ... I just remembered I got some aeroquip fuel lines... . now if only I can remember where I put them :D

Thanks for the tip tho... . it reminded me.

JFulmer -

Yes KCIR this Sunday 12 to 4pm. Then also on the 18th same place, same time. Then if possible on the 25th as well. Weather permitting of course... ... . this Sunday looks to be great. After the 25th they are closed for winter. I'll post results as soon as I get back to my girlfriends house on Sunday night, if she gives me time to post that is. Unless Floor It posts for me while I am driving home.

Yep, Im getting ready to do my lift pump and -6 an lines with swept 90's:)

I'll see what my pressure does then. Currently (before the DDIII's) I sat at 8. 5 at idle and with the PM3 on 6 or above could sink her to 0 on command:(

Haven't been able to check since the DDIII's due to not being able to watch the guage and the road at the same time;)
