New lift pump= piece of mind

I got my new lift pump installed on Friday under warranty and now I can sleep better at night. The old pump numbers were 8psi at idle, and 3-4 at WOT. The new lift pump bottoms out my 15psi guage and at WOT it hasn't dropped below 12psi. The tech at the dealership told me the pump was fine but he would replace it if I wanted him to. Of course I opted for the new one. I haven't noticed any change since the new pump went in but at least it worrying about the pump leaving me stranded won't be in the back of my mind anymore.

Good move, my truck is gettting one put in right now as I type. My truck died Yesterday and I had to get it towed today because of lift pump failer. FP guage is going in VERY SOON.

Help! Mine just died and will not restart. There is no "buzz" when I cycle the key. Did my lift pump die??? What are the tell tale signs????

I just got home from the dealer having a new lift pump installed. New pump is 19 psi at idle Oo. That is a little better than my old pump at 7 psi.

Barry if you get no buss after bumping the key you lift pump probably $^%& the bed. sorry

Thats what just happened to mine yesterday, now its getting a new lift pump. Sounds like thats what you need too.

Thoes are some really good (high) pressure readings on the new pumps guys, I hope they hold up. If they do I'll replace mine.
