Attention: TDR Forum Junkies The old lift pump started showing signs of failure, so I picked up one of the new ones (p/n: 4932707 i think) & installed it this weekend.
I have the vulcan big-line kit. With the old pump (when it was good) I had 14-15 psi idle and could only pull it down to around 12-13 WOT. The new pump 12-13 idle about 11-12 slow cruising. I did a short WOT run w/ comp on 3x5 and was able to pull down to about 7.
Anyone else have one of these installed yet? What kind of #'s are you seeing? Hope I didn't get a bad one. I kind of expected lower numbers with the new version because of the internal bypass, just didn't expect such big swings in pressure.
