You account gets cut off when you share a gigabyte (about the same as 1,000 floppy disks) of data in a 7 day period.

I want to say that XDRIVE is the best way I have found of sharing files, pics and mpegs it is easy to sign up, FREE and easy to use.

Kurt,

I didn't realize how big your movie is, and how many people would download
it.
We have a limit of 1 gigabyte per seven day period. A gigabyte is 1,000
megabytes, or a million kilobytes. A standard 3. 5" floppy holds about 1
megabyte.

In short, your movie was very popular with the other BOMBers. #ad


It's something we've been dealing with since the begining of the
company. The vast majority of people share files, pictures, movies,
whatever with friends and family, but we also had a few professional sites
posting most of their content on our servers. It was costing US hundreds
of thousands per month for a few of our most abusive users.

We set the cap at one gigabyte, thinking it was a very, very high
level. As file sizes get bigger, it becomes easier for people to hit thier
quota like you did.

On the other hand, there's less that 1/10 of one percent of our users
currently blocked (4,500 out of 6,000,000).
