can't get into chat room

Case of user error Vaughn :D . You had two url= statements in the text in a row on that link. I deleted one of them and it works fine now. The reason you can't link to a reader's rigs photo using the bb code img is because the reader's rigs uses php and that requires it to be in an html code. All you have to do is use html to link to the pic and it will work fine. I made it real easy - just click on the "forum codes" link under a pic and it will give you the exact code to use and instructions on how to copy and paste it into a thread.

Not user error...

Steve, I know it looked like user error but that wasn't the case. Like I say when I went into "Edit Post" the "TDR" part of the url was NOT there. . . that is what baffled me last night (and getting me REALLY irritated!!!). I wanted to fix it like you just did, but it wasn't possible and it wouldn't let me. I tried 4 times! Still   over this one. Oh well maybe next time it won't act so strange :(

Anyway thank you for fixing it for me :)

The TDR address wasn't there for me. Here's what happened to you. Just replace the *'s with [ and ]

This is what you had in your message initially:

*url=*url=http://www.nwbombers.com/board/ikonboard. cgi?s=3e4722492f58ffff;act=ST;f=13;t=1611* DDP Dyno Day 12-07-02, Monroe WA */url*

which would show up like this:

DDP Dyno Day 12-07-02, Monroe WA

and this is what should have been in there:

*url=http://www.nwbombers.com/board/ikonboard. cgi?s=3e4722492f58ffff;act=ST;f=13;t=1611* DDP Dyno Day 12-07-02, Monroe WA */url*

which would show up like this:

DDP Dyno Day 12-07-02, Monroe WA

The https://www.turbodieselregister.com part was added because of the first *url= automatically by the site because there was no http:// right after it (there was another *url=). As you can see, all I did was delete the first *url= out and whala it worked. I didn't notice it the first couple of times I looked at it either.
