Recently joined TDR to gain info for my search for a 1st gen. cummins. This site is full of info and the first issue of the mag has some great tech inside. Just wanted to formely introduce myself snd show the new/used truck.

Picked up this 1992 D350 from another TDR member (DJB) down in Pasadena, Tx. this past weekend on Saturday.

It's bone stock with 103K on the ticker. Very pleased with the truck so far, just needs some small power adders and it will be an excellent tow rig for my 77 M880.

I like it. Can't wait to hear what your neighbors say to you about the time you get the two, five inch straight piped stacks installed!!! :-laf :D

Welcome aboard!!!

Thanks for all the great welcomes! Oo.

I'm researching almost everyday on how to "bomb it". Want to add between 80 and 100 RWHP to her. I think gauges, exhaust and a BHAF will be the first round of mods that go on her. Then a smaller turbo housing and some different injectors.

Right now she is getting a cosmetic redo. Running boards, chrome simulators, pin striping, bed caps, tailgate protector and chrome rear bumper have been removed. Stock steel wheels and bed caps are getting powdercoated satin black. Going to fab a rear bumper from 8x4 rect. tubing for the rear. I will post an updated pic when I have the exterior mods completed.

Whatcha gona do with your running boards? sell them to me? maybe?

They are sitting at my friend's scrap pile right now. If you really want them you can have them. Let me check to make sure he hasn't done away with them yet (doubtful) and I will bring them back home with me. I did bend one of the front mud flaps when taking them off and they are really faded. I think they were probably put on the truck back in 92 when the truck was bought new.

Now you know you are not going to stop at 80 to 100 HP increase. :-laf When the bombing bug bites it bites hard and expensive. Oo.

Welcome, good to see more people in south Texas get into the oldies, i've got an identical truck for sale, there must be more than a couple of black 1 tons down here, hooduh thunkit. :)

Updated pic afte some exterior mods to the truck.

Did you scrap the rear bumper and sims also? good looking truck regardless, welcome.

Thanks!

Rear bumper is still there, plan to get a Reunel after the first of the year. Sims are long gone into scrap pile.

Shot of the rear with the Cummins mud flaps I installed to replace the old rubber ones.

These were meant for Big Trucks (18 wheelers) and I cut them down in size to fit my dually with a jigsaw. I think I still need to trim a couple of inches off the top to make them shorter, but still show the Cummins logo.
