6" Exhaust Tail Section

New to the site, many questions.

I just signed up as a new member because I am going to send my Edge Juice w/Attitude back for the Hot Flash re-programming.

If anyone is running this, I'd like to hear your comments.

Thank You.

My Truck: 2005 Ram 3500 Larime QQ/LB 4x4, Cummins 610/Auto/4. 10's

Mods: Edge Juice w/Attitude, AFE stage II w/ ProGuard 7 filter, Triple gauges in piller, ATS Gauges (Trans Temp, Boost, EGT), ATS Deep trans pan.

Thats if so far. Want to do an exhaust next.

Chassis Dyno results from Mopars at the strip, Las vegas 2005: 439 HP, 831 ft/lbs on level 5 of the Juice.

I ran the HOT Juice/Attitude for a while, but I had the supporting mods in my signature before really did any playing on Level 5. Levels 1-4 on the HOT Juice/Attitude are the same as Levels 2-5 on the standard Juice/Attitude. So you already know exactly what they do. HOT Juice Level 5 will push the stock turbo past efficiency and will probably get hot pretty quick without exhaust upgrade. But the real problem will be the TC and Transmission. HOT Juice/Attitude does have enough power to nuke the TC and Transmission if not careful, and with 410 gear might even be easier. I would do the TC/Trans soon and then decide how much power you want to really use. Might need fuel pump upgrade and turbo to really be able to use that HOT Juice.

Thank you,

I just ordered a 5" Magnaflow exhaust for the truck also.

I want to see if I can hit 450 Hp with the stock Turbo and Injectors.

I think my next upgrades might be an intercooler and high ram intake, and a fuel pump. Then I will need to upgrade the transmission. I may use ATS because they are right here in Denver.

I haven't seen much slippage, and the trans fluid looked just fine when I installed my ATS deep rans pan this weekend. The truck only has about 22,000 miles on it, and maybe only about 5,000 miles of that was towing.

chances are you are going to melt the stock turbo if not nuke it into outer space! anything over 40psi is just asking for it, and the egts are probably going to be way to high, point is look for a better turbo, you will see the full benefit of the hot juice w/ a better turbo! :-laf

That seems like a lot of power for just a Juice module. Sure, it was in Vegas, and I'm in Denver, but I was told I would probably make about 400 hp with the hot juice. I haven't had a chance to dyno it, maybe I should. What do you guys think she'll do?

On second thought, you have the 325/610, and I have the 305/555. I still think my truck should be similar with the extra stage.

You must not drive very hard,my fluid had disclored and changed at 5k with a dd pan since under 500 mi :-laf

BErmoyan,

I have the edge juice and I had it dyno'd a few months ago and on level 5/5 I came in at 405hp and 849tq. Milehi dyno is having a dyno day on 2/11 saturday. Bring it down and see what she will do. I am going to run mine again to see if the numbers are close.

I have a question regarding the trans slipage. What is an acceptable range? I run on level 2/3 most of the time (gets the best mpg) but there are times I will run level 4/5 if I need to get out of someones way. :p The most I have seen on the slip guage is 8%, is this bad, good, or on my way to killing the transmission?

Do the trans first, my hot juice is now sitting on the bench until I get my new trans. If you have the $$$ to do it all at once than do it, if not wait cause that stock tc gets torn up really quick. Mine hit 390hp/736tq with standard juice on level 5/5.

Milehigh,

Where is the dyno shop at? I'd like to get it dynoed to get an idea. About the transmission, the hot juice really pushes the stock one to the limit, when we had it, the slip got up to 5018%. With the built transmission, the attitude still shows some slip, but there is none at all. So, it's not that accurate it looks like.
