I have to admit i have been reading your posts for about a year now learned alot. I am looking to ad VA CPC anyone running similar set up i would like to hear from you. THANKS JERRY.

Wecome aboard. The VA is a great addition, go for it. I prefer the VA and a boost module to an EZ even if it does cost more. With the injectors you are going to need a VB if you don't already have one.

I guess I should clarify a little. You do not need a boost module to run the VA, it is a great mod without it too. There has been a lot of comparisons lately between the VA and the EZ, my point was that when you add a boost module to the VA to level the playing field I like the VA better than the EZ even though the cost will likely be higher. As far as boost modules go, they all serve the purpose, the PS is highly thought of also. It should work fine.

The VA gave me an extra 40HP and I don't have to worry about the transmission with this mod. However, the BOMBing bug is biteing, after I install gauges I think I will go with transmission mods, then the PS elbow, and then... #ad
 
TERMINATOR:
i think wwith the banks powerpack you already have a boost module. i think thats wwwhat plugged into the MAP sensor. it alows the computer to reach boost over 119 psi. i have the VA with a powerpack and it screams!!!enjoy... james...

Thanks again for all the input you guys are alright. James i will look into what you said about boost module with powerpack. If anyone can confirm map sensor hook up being the boost module on powerpack please post reply. James have you had your truck on dyno. JERRY

TERMINATOR:
i had it on a dynojet dynometer. it wouldnt give an accurate reading because it will only simulate a 5000lb load. the max boost i reached is 28lbs out of 36+lbs. my truck maxed at 264. 1hp. need to find a dyno around here that can produce a 10,000lb load! a dynojet is made to test mustangs and camaro's. with your banks powerpack you reach over 30 psi,right? thats because the ottomind plugs into your map sensor disabling the overboost code..... james...

JAMES yes i do get around 30 pounds that map hook up would have to be some sort of over ride. I know you have more horses than 264 i dont have a VA and i know i added way more than that let me know if you get it dyno correctly. I just installed the pro torque TC last week tough job but well worth it. Thanks for the comeback... JERRY
