New Member with old problem

Al Slagell here with a 94 4X4 2500 reg cab and a tired automatic. I am at 175,000 miles and the transmission is shifting very slow in 3rd (empty) and even slipping in 1st annd 2nd when towing up steep logging roads. I would like some help locating a good transmission shop with experiance located within 200 miles of Missoula, MT. Thanks for any help, Al.

Welcome Al, good to see someone else from the area here, I'm in Corvallis, Casey is in Stevensville, that makes three, can we start a club?!!! All I can say to your question is to avoid Grizzly Motors, heard the dealer in Helena is great though. Best bet would be to contact Bill K he'll direct you to the best shop around here.
