welcome. i dont think you will be sorry you joined, well worth the money. nice truck by the way, looks like you got a solid setup.

HI. I like your truck. Of course, I'm sorta loose when it comes to my trucks... . I'll drive anything as long as it has a Cummins under the hood. Well, a Cummins connected to the driveline, anyway. I joined for the magazine, myself. Now they can't get rid of me!! :D I think you'll find this place indispensible if you work on your own stuff. These people here have helped me figure out more stuff over the last... . how long has it been? I'm sure someone else will chime in about that..... If you have any questions, just ask someone. Most of us... . well, I guess I should say, I am fairly dim, but try hard. Like a 40watt bulb plugged into 220!! We'll see you around.

God bless you and yours,

I'm pretty good at figuring out whats wrong, I'm a service tech at a freightliner dealer, Certified on all of the Heavy and Medium Duty Cummins automotive engines and the Sterling Bullet/OBDII System. I'll be honest though, I hate new Cummins Engines(Anything painted red) I'm a Detroit and Mercedes guy all the way ;)

Detroit? Well, old man Penske knew what he was doing. Nothing wrong with a good Detroit 60 series. I'm partial to my Cummins, but if I'm really gonna do some heavy hauling, I'll let my Cat out of the shop!:D

Anyway, I don't think you'll find yourself alone when it comes to hating Red engine blocks. They're doing to diesels what they did to Gas engines in the Mid '80s, which is why we went to diesels in the first place!! We really need to start giving IQ tests to people before letting them breed... . How can an engine that uses 30% more fuel be more effecient and emit less pollutants?!?!? Yeah, I don't know either... :{

Welcome seane!!

I will in no way impugn (what a word) other cummins sites. I will attest to the great pool of talent that lives here and generously offers help to other members (and I hope I have measured up as well). This site is the best because of all our members - people like Scott hovey of Massdiesel, George G from Cali, Steve St. Laurent one of our moderators and so many others. When you post a question here you will be met with respect, humility, and genuine altruism. This site is the greatest because of the membership. Welcome to a great resource- The TDR!!
