My grandpa put the banks brake on his 02 3500, it didnt work. The problem with his was computer related. I dont know if you would have the same prob since you have a manual. His caused the truck to go all screwey. they refunded part of his money, but not all. And the only reason they refunded some was after we mentioned being TDR members... ... .

I'd go with pac brake, or jacobs personally. And if it were me, I'd do a 4" inline, so if you ever change turbos you are safe.

Juan, the Amsoil ATF is fine for ATF+4 applications. Also the new severe gear 75w/90 will work great in both diffs. Have been using it since it came out. Replaced the old series 2000. PM me if you need some. Still haven't been able to make lunches. Would really like to meet you guys. Anyone have advice on flares. Would like a couple inches of coverage and somewhat factory looking. Also, still looking for a set of factory alloys.

Juan, I like LE607 in the diffs and generally have some around for the next time. Have you got the Mag Hytec cover yet?

I have a gallon of Mopar +3 ATF that I would like to get to a good home. i got some +4 from Mopar, haven't used it all yet, its for my T case, but it is pricey.

Joe,

Nope, planning the family vacation AND my wife's 40th trip to Hawaii. Gotta save them pennies. The Mag Hytec'll have to wait.

I saw a thread on the 3dr gen board from Ken Lenger that he got some Pennzoil ATF+4, but the guy at Autozone I talked to saide they pulled it and stopped selling it. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to Vegas (Yeah baby!) where I wll be doing some training and consulting. Then it's three nice days off at home. With the family.

That'll be even better than Vegas!

Juan

Thanks LOtero. Plans right now are to get the main structure together, it's getting close to that. TDR is sponsoring us and making a custom banner ad. It will be on the left side of the page where the 2 boxes are. I plan to put a Wiki page up after to holiday weekend. I'm in Frisco, CO right now. If you have any suggestions for the site you can drop me an email or I am here pretty regularly.

Let's meet at Bea's-2 on Zuni and Wyoming Thursday, 11AM. I will bring Jim Anderson, whose TDR articles you have read for years. He is based in Tennessee but is traveling through our area.

beas tomorrow, sounds like a plan. how was the lake?? i didnt even get outta town just ended up workin on trucks and bein lazy. ahh the life :-laf

'fraid I can't make the Bea's meeting. If I do it will be later on so don't wait to eat. (like i have to say that)

The lake was great. . no crazier'n usual for a holiday. I went down early wednesday and secured some great beach front. The water level rose over 1 vertical foot while we there. some people had to relocate to avoid pulling a Luis with their RVs. For the last 5 or 6 years the water line went the other way and we would sometimes have to relocate to stay near water.

The Dodge does better than the average 3/4 ton with a 5th wheel in the deep sand. I like it!

Hope to see you all at Bea's. It'll be nice to have a VIP visitor.

F-16 Tour

while at beas today i mentioned the possibility of gathering up all who are interested and taking them into "my world". what i mean is giving you guys a tour of the hangar and flightline areas of the Air National Guard where i work. this would involve getting to climb around some F-16s and maybe even watching a launch and take-off. i figure most of us cummins guys are power hungry, so 28,000 lbs of thrust would pique some interest. let me know and i will schedule us a tour given by yours truly! :D
