Wednesday and secure some beach front property in Hot Springs Cove. Anyone else?

I am going for sure. We arent going until saturday morning, though. my girlfriends brother graduates friday night. We are staying through tuesday, though.

Im not sure where we are planning on going, hadnt thought about it really. Maybe I'll try to find you guys, and if there is room nearby, maybe well camp there.

Well see. I finally ordered the parts to fix the jet-ski, so I will have to work on it for at least half a day when I get there. :(

Im no help on the santa fe subject either. in fact, I hate santa fe.

Hey guys just looking at the abq dragstrip home page http://www.abqdragway.com and checking out the schedule, there are some nights that would be cool for some of us to show up, such as mopar madness or tuff truck night, just thought you would like to check it out!

We actually went last Friday night and it was a pretty good time. There were some pretty quick cars too. There was even a lighting and a dodge but it was a sb hemi with a turbo. Guy said it was a t-60. It spooled up pretty good but it was strange to hear turbo and not see some smoke. There were all sorts of cars and trucks running some even running as slow as 22 sec. So no reason to feel bad when you run 15+. We should definately pick a time and head out there.

I just got back from MM'05. Edge turbo is still in the box, waiting for a downpipe. We could meet this week (Bea's2, 11 AM as usual???) but tomorrow (for our usual Thursday) is close upon us and I don't know if everyone will see this in time.

today is good for me, or tomorrow lemme know, the saturday may be possible too. i am looking forward to hearing about may madness, and seeing what may end up being my next turbo!

Today (thursday) at 11:00 is good for me too.

I may even bring a visitor.

As for the strip, Im out there a LOT anyway, so just say when you wanna go. Not memorial weekend, though. One of my friends Jack just did a plate and stacks on his 97 and wants to run it, and I think Eric finally got his ATS trans back together and will run again, hopin for 13's (ran a best of 14. 1).

I think we are going out on the 21st anyway. Mike and Brian from DTW (the turbo'd hemi guys) are bringing the trucks out, and a turbo 'busa, and a turbo supra. We are doing a bar-b-q. Brian has ran a best of 13. 65 at 104. 7 so far. mike dyno'd at like 357hp running only 5psi. They hope at 8psi to be in the 410hp range and high 12's. should be good!!!

yea i talked to eric the other day in hicktown and he was driving his truck, he said he broke his output shaft, R&R'd it with another stocker (fuse) and was driving it, that was on monday, so hopefully he will be out there to run too! gimme call when you guys are going out to the strip, and if i can i will be there, most the time i just forget and get involved in something else.

Do you guys realize that the NM page has the second highest post count of any other state's page???? we are second only to pennsylvania.

thats what I was thinkin. Cali maybe, or something like that, but penn?

But hey, were still the second. we must have big mouths.

you do! anyway starting monday i am going to join the working world and become an active member of the New Mexico Air National Guard! so no more posting all day!

ya, I guess I do. I just hope that by keeping this thread towards the top, more NM members will find it.

you know, I have distributed about 25 TDR Flyers and NM chapter flyers and not one person has emailed or called or anything.

oh well.

well i got my truck back from the transmission shop!!! Oo. Oo. Oo. i have to say as happy as i am to have it back, it is kinda bittersweet, because as they were in the process of building the transmission (which shifts like it should now btw) i removed and sold my ez box, so now i am pretty much driving a stock truck :{ :{ i never realized or appreciated what a difference the ez box made! in order to remedy my need for speed i will be installing my TST PM3 tonight!! oh yea i saw a TDR member on the freeway yesterday and even messed around with him some, he came to beas once, on a motorcycle, is a lil bit older, but i didnt catch his name. he drives a maroon 3rd gen with a pillar guages and probly a box by the way it smoked.

the transmission works great, of course it is designed to use the power that will be coming tonight, but it does shift nice. the only thing is my truck is SO SLOW!!!! i cant wait for POWER! i just feel like a slug, but all in due time. :D
