Went to the dealer today to pick up something and they had a brand new Laramie Limited Megacab in my color of choice and interior.

Boy, oh boy! Talk about tempting. I'll never get rid of my truck but that one sure made me think twice about it.

They keep getting nicer and nicer, don't they?

Just DONT take one for a test drive.. My 2013 is now at 10,000 towing miles and I like it better each time out.

I'm with Gonzo, but can't speak from direct experience, but do have a story that involves a buddy. Over the past three weeks, I was helping a friend shop for a new to him Dodge Cummins. His price range wasn't conducive to 4th generation trucks, but he was having trouble finding a 3rd gen 5.9 that met all his criteria.

On Tuesday, I got a text from with a picture of a 2012 a dealer "let him borrow" overnight. Next text on Wed was about leaving a deposit. He said he knew before he got it home he was going to buy it. The ride was better, it was quieter, and he liked the full back seat (he has three kids). All added up to a no comparison to the 3rd gen in his eyes.

That one drive hooked him. That's why I probably won't ride in it!!!

Ha! I hear ya. The last new truck I drove was a 2012, my BILs new-to-him truck.

May have to get one later as a family vehicle and keep my 08 as a BOMBer toy.

I lost a friend cause I didn't cozy up to his NEW 12. I just stayed away and didn't want to get HOOKED. I could tell it --ssed him off some by his additud. Keep the faith, Ya, the good ole 12 valve, The "sound of power" My discription for the noise they make.
