i could not get the plug out so i took it back they got it off I had a new plug from genos with the magnet on the end but it drips oil now my truck never had a oil leak

and yes they over filles it again so i let some out 2 qt

The easyest thing on our trucks for us to do is change the oil - yet the easyest thing for someone else to screw up if they don't give a hoot when changing the oil. So, this is learened as evidenced by the screwed up drain plug and overfill of oil.

Doing it yourself takes about an hour (if you are really slow at it) ;), and you know the right amount and type of oil is in it (11 quarts), and you know you put oil in the filter and lubed the "O"-ring before installing it (bet a new Mega Cab the boys at the quickie shop never even heard of that), and last (should be first step actually) you know that you "torqued" the drain plug to 40# (bet you a new turbo and fuel box for the Mega Cab the boys in the jippy lube use an impact). ;)

So the moral to this is: don't pay Duffis McDilfire at the local quickie lube to screw up a job that you can do (as evidenced by the experience) better.

It is way easy to tear up the threads in the pan by over tightening. I got a quick change pulg from Geno's with the copper gaskert and have had 0 leakage issues since.
