Ram Diesel 800 lbs/Ft torque vs Aisin 850 lbs./ft torque?

Just made final decision and purchased a 2015 Ram cummins 2500, 6.7L engine with 800 lbs Ft torque and this will tow my 39 ft. Big Horn 5th wheel.
1.Question: What are the engine differences internally between the 850 ft lbs. torque with the Aisin compared to the 800 lbs. ft torque with the 68R transmission?
2. What was done to accomplish the extra 50 ft lbs. torque?

Cummins probably detuned it so it would run with the 68rfe trans . The Aisian is superior trans not sure what the dollar amt equates to .

Software is different. Check your pin weight; that is a very big and probably heavy 5th wheel and pin weight may (probably will, when considered with other stuff being carried) exceed capability of a 2500.

With that trailer would it Not be Best to get MORE Truck then what you just bought ?When it comes to Towing Bigger is Better .

That's a bit of trailer for sure!

Did you get the 18" wheel option? If not you will need to be careful with 17's, as the 5ers pin weight will probably put you at or over your tire/wheel ratings.

As for the the power, as others have stated its all software to make the 65 extra ft/lbs.
