No Weld 5th Wheel Hitch

If this has been posted already, disregard.

I have not read the law, but my understanding, if you have a ball mount sticking out of your class IV, without a trailer on it, its a $108 fine.

A politician must have busted his shin one to many times in the liquor store parking lot.

HMM, I wonder if the law states "ball Hitch" specifically. Then drop a pintle hitch in, or just a straight piece of 2" square stock. I always keep the reciever in place... . protects a little from people who like to play bumper tag at stop lights.

Not good for locals but I doubt they can enforce it on non residents. I have a 8" drop hitch that I usually leave on all the time to keep the trash (small foriegn and domestic cars) out from under the rear of my truck. bg

I wonder if those plastic propellors that boat owners like to stick in there would earn a ticket?

Is it fishing season for ricer radiators? :p :D

Hehe - I have actually ripped out a chain link fence after backing a little too close and pulling out. - My buddy (his fence) was not impressed... ...

I leave the hitch receiver in but don't have the ball mounted!

Uncle Boogers Bumper Dumper

I like it! Can you ride back there? Maybe if you install a seat belt? Oo.

??

Sleddy, I went into my local Representatives office today to check on this. They called Harrisburg and they said they knew nothing of this "law". They did however say that the hitch could not obstruct the view of the license plate... . so... . thats what I found out. Who knows what is right, politicians don't know the rules either... . lol

I have my 10" Alumastinger on most of the time. It's just high enough to get over curbs without scraping but keeps the boat trailer at a better angle. (loads easier, I can see over it, and my outdrive is up higher when I forget to trailer it   )
