I got my new Pacbrake installed yesterday at Bob V. 's bomb party. I couldn't have done it by myself due to recovering from a shoulder surgery. Thanks to all who helped :D

So far I like it. I think that there's probably a cleaner place to install the compressor than on the top front of the engine, but untill my shoulder is healed up it will have to do. The '03 spot for the compressor is filled up with the radiator recovery bottle now. I figure out somewhere something later.

I put mine on the outside passenger frame rail. The only problem was that I needed to find some longer tubing for the air line. Other than that it works great there. I have to open the passenger window and listen hard to hear the compressor run. It can kinda fake you out sometimes because it is so quiet... ..... Sarge

Dan:, all that you have to do is make straight aluminum plate 0. 125 thick, by 8" by 6" and mount it on the altenator bracket, buy a metric bolt for the spare hole along with a spacer. Then make a stiffner to run from the plate to the first bolt next to the oil fill cap. Thats what I did to mount my Firestone air compressor, stays nice 7 dry & keeps my six gallon tank full at all times. If you would like, send me your e-mail address and I will send you an exact duplicate sketch.

Oo.

I put mine under my air filter and with it installed you cant even see it. No wires, No air hose, No compressor. Looks really clean IMO. I dont know if it can be done with the stock air box though?
