Park Models are designed to be pulled 3-4 times. I pull them with a dually. At a max speed of maybe 58mph, I had problems with the molding coming apart in the front. Gorilla tape works for that. The wind will whip you around pretty good. The wind in Wyoming pilled the drivers side wheel molding loose. I took it off the unit with a screwdriver and put it inside. Didn't even get a Thank you from the ahole dealer that I delivered it to. Ooh It was about -30+ windchill when I removed the moulding at Cheyenne with a screwdriver. Took me abt 2 hrs. I had to keep getting back in my truck so my fingers would warm up!

PS Thats a POS Forest River tOO! You can find a better deal than that++++++++++++!

I agree completely with Andersonville above. I didn't want to harshly criticize the OP's RV choice but a trailer built by Forest River that is that long (44') and that light (10,xxx lbs. ) could not possibly be built with substantial methods and materials.

A park model trailer like the one the OP is buying is designed and built to be transported to a lot and set up semi-permanently on concrete blocks to support the frame.

It is not likely to be of high quality or offer much durability.

Edit: I pulled one from a repo lot in CA to an auction lot in OR once. It was less than five years old, thoroughly trashed, and literally falling apart. The front window or windows were missing, trim had fallen off, everything inside showed severe wear, it was basically junk.
