Last summer my beloved '97 was totaled and I have a few items that I have been saving for future installation that will not fit my new 2017.
All parts listed below are brand New, in the box, as purchased and have never been installed or misused in any way.
I know that these parts will fit the 97 and most likely several other years but I can not guarantee comatibility for anything other than the 97 2500.

Since this part has proven to be a frequent failure that suddenly snaps without warning, I made a practice of changing it out every three years and caa=rrying on(this one) under the front Driver seat for a quick change in emergencies.
