I just traded for a new 2021 2500 Laramie CTD, CC, SB, 4x4, 3.73 Gears, and pretty much loaded.
We've downsized. Dually wouldn't fit in the garage with the grocery getter. Don't have a 5th wheel anymore either. I do miss my 2015 DRW MC, but this new rig should work out. I will be towing a 9000lbTT. I've noticed some differences in the engine compartment. Turbo is closer to the top of the engine. I hear a little turbo whine, and Oil filter looks a little more hidden. So far I've got 110 miles on new truck. I'll get some pictures out soon.

Oil filter is a BREEZE to get to on the 19's and up!!!

Loosen two 5/16" band clamps on the intake hose and remove. No special tools required!

Congrats on the new ride!!!

Black is great, a beautiful look...for everyone else. I'll never buy another black vehicle. My CTS-V is black and beautiful but she is a lot of work that I'm getting to old to keep up with.

It is definitely work to keep Black looking good.
You would think I would have learned my lesson by now, but nooooooo, it's my 4th Black pickup since 94.
This pickup is just freaking awesome, if I don't say so myself. Working on putting the 1st 500 miles on it prior to towing. Tough job LOL!

Well I finally got 500 miles on the rig, and This Tuesday I'm dragging my 35' TT from E. TN to behind enemy lines (Nor- Cal) to visit my Mom. Haven't been over that way in 7 years. It's time, but Damm! The times ain't good right now, with the covid bs, fuel prices, and what not. Starting in Johnson City TN, to Nashville and then north to I-80 , and eventually to Redding, CA, then Hwy 299 to Eureka, Ca. I'll try to post about the adventure during the trip.
The truck is doing excellent. I put 220 miles on it today. The onboard computer said 22 mpg at speeds between 60-70 mph. So I'm probably getting 20? Anyway she feels and sounds good.
SIX BURNING FOUR TURNING!

Nice looking truck and congratulations.

I am not sure what fuel prices are out west but up in Northern MI in the Petoskey area I have been paying $3.40 a gallon. When pulling my 5ER up north I am seeing between 10 and 11 mpg’s on pretty much flat land. So, that mpg is really good on a new truck that is not even broken in yet.

Thanks, and yeah that 22 mpg is nice, but I know I'll be getting somewhere around 10 mpg towing 9200 lbs. Fuel prices here are $3.29. On the I-40 today I saw $3.69 at Loves and Pilot just outside of Knoxville. I bet it's close to $6.00 in Nor-Cal.

Hit the Weigel’s at exit 435 in Newport, TN.
