The decal was made by a friend of mine that does vinyl graphics here in Minnesota. We had seen a post on here quite some time ago with 2 stripes and the Cummins logo in the middle. He had a program that changed the parameters of the stripe, so we started to play around with it to find a better look. We came up with one similar to the one thats posted here with 2 thin stipes on either side of one thick middle one. So than we tried for the retro Mopar look with only 1 small stripe going to the back of the large center stripe. We also didnt like the look of the block lettering seen on others so we changed that too. I think it came out pretty sweet. .

The hood is from a SRT10 and availible at your local Dodge dealer.

Yep, Thats the one I had seen. He (or some one else ) was selling them on ebay. It was the style on the blue truck, with the dual white stripes. Great Idea , I just was'nt to hip to the block lettering, plus I wanted something different more retro. So we made our own. I was going to try and post mine on the other thread here but cant get it to go over. Oh well

Crimefighter, Your stripe looks good! However, The split stripe that westside vg is correct in replicating the look of the 68' super bee stripe as is the solid stripe with small stripes on either side replicate a 69-70' super bee stripe, I have never seen a 68and up Mopar with a one sided stripe.

That maybe I didn't research it, when we came up with 5 or 6 designs this one looked the best to us. It reminded us of late 60's Mopar, it may not be correct but it works for me. One of the designers there at the shop is a huge Mopar nut and I went with his ideas and his recollection of stripes from that era. Thanks Keith
