Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) New problem with my Cruise control...?

I have had my truck for all of it's 130K and have never had any CC problem even with big injectors (150's) until last weekend the truck started to surge when the Cruise was set but not really imediately it would work fine for a while and then just start surgging? No codes so what should I look for? It is a 02' so I don't think the vaccume set up is the same as the earlier years. .

check TST connectors or turn Smarty down and try again. Ive had surge with either problem in CC.

The Smarty has been on lvl 9 for a year and there has never been surge, it also seems to be intermitant since it will be fine for a while then start drastically surging till I disable the cruise. Is there some thing that could have gone out, there is no codes so maybe mechanical?

With the 6 speed, your cruise should be electronic.



Mine surges so bad, I pulled the Smarty program.
