New problem

Started the truck this morning. The idle jumped up to 900 rpm's and the check engine light came on. I have a 35 mile drive and nothing changed. Any ideas on where to start looking for this problem. Had to put a starter in last week. This is my first dodge/cummins. 2002 4X4 with 163000 and automatic. Any help would be appericated.

Cycle the key three times(without starting) leaving it on the third time and write down the codes that show up on the odometer!
