I know that a lot of you guys are concerned with getting better fuel mileage and or gaining performance. I have used this additive in my Harley for 9 years and it does make a difference in both mileage and power. This additive works in both Diesel and gas engines. I believe in this product. The name of the company is Duralt. Go to the website and check it out. 2 ounces treats 40 gallons of Diesel fuel. This is not an anti-gel product although it improves cold weather starting. Feel free to call the toll free number and talk to Leonard. If you order by phone tell him you are a TDR member and you'll get a 15% discount. www.buyduralt.com

I talked to Leonard today(Friday 3/1) about 1/2 an hour ago to offer the 15% discount..... I told him the TDR is about 10,000 members strong.

I paid full price for my order. It was only in speaking to him that I got the discount for TDR members.

Eric

I am not affiliated with Duralt on any level. I just believe in the product.

Feel free to pm me

Pump lube

It would be interesting to know if it has any added pump lubricant. It doesn't sound like it does. Other than that the ad is compelling and I'd be interested in trying it. An 8+ percentage improvement in fuel economy is a pretty bold claim and it would be fun to see if it lives up to it.

Vaughn

I'm with Vaughn. My biggest concern is the lube to the pump. If I gain anything else, and I haven't noticed a increase in MPG or HP with the Standyne PF, it would just be a added bonus to me.

Scott W.

I remember the Duralt. I used it when I rode Harleys. I was reading about it on there site. Its being talked about over on Freds TDI site(VW) too. It did make a difference.

One of the claims is added lubricity.

Leonard (Duralt Rep) called me Monday to say that they got a few orders over the weekend via the net. He will be enclosing free product to reflect your savings. Remember I said you have to CALL to get the 15% discount. Leonard said that they are excited about the response from TDR as most of their business is Fleet type accounts.

Keep me posted guys. I want to hear what you think about this product. Remember you can put this in your gassers too.

Eric

call me a cynic....

but a 20% increase in gas mileage??? Even 8% average sounds like it might be too good to be true. And we all know if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Having said that, $10 isn't all that much to lose if it's just snake oil. Maybe I'll give it a try... .

I clicked on their link for fuel mileage documentation and there was none, just statements about how great the stuff is. But I guess I will venture $10.

Got mine

I ordered the Duralts from Leonard. got it in a few days. $31. 45 for 16 2oz bottles. I'll start useing it soon and post my mileage results. I'm somewhat sceptical but we shall see.

Rich B

Just ordered for me.

Took a bonus 4 pack instead of the discount. So 5 - 4 paks Cost me $38 and some change w/ shipping. Of course CA's tax is in there too. Comes out to . 95/oz vs 1. 04/oz if I took the 15% discount. THAT IS A WHOLE . 10/OZ :--)

Some people just like figuring those things out huh.

Guess I have faith it will work. Otherwise I would have gone for less

I track every tanks MPG and will post changes.

Shovelhead,

Yep... ... I know it... ..... And it's a diluted version of Duralt. 2 ounces treats 50 gallons of diesel... ...

Eric

24V-DSL,

Eric

I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH DURALT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM... ... ... ... I JUST BELIEVE IN THEIR PRODUCT... ... ... ... . I would'nt stick my neck out here if I wasn't confident... ... . YOU GUYS WOULD HAVE ME SNIPED. lol

I paid full price for my order..... no compensation at all NONE..... I bought a case of 16 oz. bottles + shipping... ... . I used gas from the same station just to make sure... ... ..... my driving range went up considerably... . approx 30-40 miles (Sporty w/2. 25 gal tank) I don't remember the exact numbers, But not to sound cliche'... . 30 something.

Don't get me wrong... ... I'm not upset, mad or cranky... ... . Just a believer.

Peace... ... ... Out

Eric

Thanks, Eric....

I'll hang back and see what other's post. It's not the $$, as I spilled that much beer last night.

It's just that I've tried four or five different brands, and all any of them do, that I'm pretty sure of... . quiet/smooth out the engine, which I hope means it's providing lubricity to my pump, which is the main reason I use it anyway.

I've got enough of this various product sitting in my garage to last me at least a year of fills.

Glad it works for you... .

24V-DSL,

I know what you mean about the different ones, still have some Power Service left. I actually go farther with this one though. It's not an anti-gel though. But it helps cold weather starts... ... I don't plug in.

What is your brew of choice? I have a few... ... . Grolsch..... Heineken... ... . Elephant... ... . Molson Ice... ... . Sam Adams... ... ... . Corona w/lime... ... . Yeungling black and tan... ... ..... I'm gettin' thirsty... ... .

Eric

I find that mine runs smoother after I wash it too. Or even a little better after washing the windshield. :D And! The turbinator for your intake claims to improve mileage too. I didn't buy one of them. I'm such a pessimist, I'll wait for some documented proven results. :)
