Competition New Puller

I have a stock 2000 Ext Auto with no mods. I have got the bug to pull at my county fair. What gear should I pull in? I don't want to cause any major damage to my daily driver, however I follow my local pulling circuit and want to give it a try.

Put the tcase in low and lock out OD. Realize that even with stock power, you could damage the truck. Not likely, but possible.
