OK guys, I got a set of RS 9000's for Xmas, and got them installed... went for a ride today and man-oh-man it's like a new vehicle! No more teeth jarring, no more bouncing 60 yards AFTER the railroad crossing... why did I wait so long? For those of you picking up new trucks, dont even wait 1000miles... change out the shocks immediately! That Brazilian junk makes the truck seem less than it is. At the suggestion of you gentlemen here, I started wtih #3 in front, and #1 in rear; so far, Im in love all over again! Thanks everyone!

Yep BCFAST, RS9000s are the best. I put a set on mine and love it. I tow a 15K lb 5th wheel, so its really nice to adjust from empty up to handling the 2,900 lb pin weight of the trailer. Also nice to be able to adjust front and rears independently.

Cheers, Wirdawg

You may want to skip the velvet rides and go with the roadmaster active suspension. The price is a little more, but it seems that everyone is really happy with the roadmasters and no too happy with the velvet rides. Do a search and you'll find alot of info on the roadmasters.

Question on the Rancho's, has anyone had a problem with the 9000 going bad. A few years back I put 5000's on a Chevy half ton and the longevity of them wasn't too great.
