Computer Gurus Need Some Help

"Perks" of old age...

Well I made the big purchase of a Socom 16 M1A with the 308 round built by the Springfield Armory and I also purchased a Aimpoint Comp ML2 scope.

" Man what a weapon"' Nobody better mess with me. :-laf

... So tell us more. What sort of accuracy is it getting you? I would love to pick up one of the M1A's. I'm not quite ready to spend quite that much on something that'll digest expensive ammo quicker than my bolt action though. Is it worth the price?

Early word (I don't own one, I know a few that do) has it that accuracy is average but it sure is a fun shooter... for a . 30 cal. Surplus ammo abounds making shooting pretty cheap!! :D

. 308 is relatively cheap round. Ask all the magnum shooters how they feel. But if your used to shooting . 22 LR's then I guess it's a change.

You can still find 308 for under $150. 00 per 1000.

Man I'm jealous.

I've loved that rifle from the day I picked one up. Points& swings like a fine shotgun.

Good luck with it.

Eric

Last year I bought a National Match m1a Walnut stock for a sweet deal. Never been shot yet. LOL.

Those socoms are sweet. They are very good tactical, crap hit the fan, protection guns... .

I think that's called Radar or Rader T. G. It's supposed to be about a $250. 00 part alone.

Ya know... . we need now a range report. :-laf

See what you got yourself into? :-laf
