New Roundtable Programing

If my read of the upcoming Roundtable changes, from the TDR Magazine, is correct. I appears that we will all lose our posting quatinty numbers. Will there be a mad dash to build post numbers?

I'm not sure if I read it right, but it also looks like we will be using our real names, rather than "handles". Guess I'll just be a memory then, since nobody will be interested in what some idiot named David Dawley has to say. #ad
At least you guys expect to read idiot stuff from a guy name Doc Tinker.

It doesn't sound that way to me Doc. The second sentence in the sixth paragraph of the BACK page of the latest TDR sounds as if the TDR staff already know the members do not want to lose post counts or screen names, so they are making the effort to preserve same.

If not, I suspect Kat will be livid. #ad

I don't see how they could lose post counts and change names without losing all the current topics. If they did that, it would be essentially starting all over again from scratch with zero topics per thread. What about the archived stuff as well? Come on guys, don't leave us flapping in the breeze here.

Members will not lose post counts. Your "handle" will also rename. However, there will be an additional required field called "title" that will put your name on the post, ie, ken, rpatton, jsmith.
