New Safety Recall?

Has anyone else gotten a notice for Safety REcall F05 - Antilock Brake System Control Module? Apparently it is an issue with some 2006 Ram and Dakota pickups that can cause the rear brakes to lock up.



I guess it is back to the dealer AGAIN.



This new truck has been in to the dealer in the 3 months I have owned it more than my first gen was in the 11 years I have owned it.

I just got the same one along with the fuel tank vent hose... . Monday morning appt.

I have had both done, I regularly check my vin on the Dodge site and they came up. I got the recalls in the mail about 2 weeks after having them fixed. Painless, about an hour plus a little. Call and make sure your dealer has the parts, puts your name on a set for your appointment. My dealer only had one module when I made my appointment. I stopped there the other day for something and they had calls by a good 20 people and waiting on parts. They lengthen both of the vent hoses and replace your module. If your fuel filter seems contaminated they are supposed to replace it also. They did not touch mine.
