As part of our efforts to improve TDR, we are rolling out a new search engine for the forums. The interface looks the same, but the results are "smarter" than the stock search engine, plus the formatting is easier to read. As well, it knows things beyond what you typed, and will suggest (and return results on) alternative words.

For instance, if you wanted to search on "ford f150" (yeah, I know its a Ford term but I'm illustrating how it's smarter). It will return results for the suggested term "ford f-150" (with the dash in f150) as well as "ford f150".

We're currently in a beta test phase for this search, and hope to bring you improvements to it over time. If you find any bugs or have suggestions please let us know!

You totally missed the humor in the post. See, you said there is a new search feature and you used the F150 as an example: I then said, "I just searched on the term and it showed me a link to five different tow truck services in my area." You know because I searched on the term F150. Tough crowd.

I liked it!!!!

Your welcome!

BTW, there are a few fun things you can do date-wise if you're interested:

You can type "before:2012-12-31" in the search box to look for posts before Dec. 31, 2012.

Or "after:2016-08-01" to search for results after Aug. 1, 2016.
