New seats

Has anyone installed Recaro or any other Sport type seats in the Quad cab?

One of my fellow Alaskan's has installed aftermarket seats and is still active as far as I know, and memory serves me, they are air ride. Genosgarage sells a seat that fits our trucks, do some searching and you should find some threads. You can PM me if you want and I'll try and get in contact with him, and have him PM you.

I am at this same point with these seats being painful to endure much longer. I found some 2010 take outs locally, but the guy still wants what would be about the same $$ as going with new Suburban or National.
What did you end up going with? New replacements or just the seat bottom itself?

I went with new seat foam which made a good difference,you don't notice how bad the old foam was till its replaced. I kept the old foam to use as padding when laying on top of the engine compartment. That being said, if I keep my truck.....it will get aftermarket seats. If Genos shipped to AK I would have one of those seats bolted in. If you do a search for air ride seats,might be in 2nd Gen, a fellow Alaskan installed air ride seats & was happy with the investment. That will be the route I will go myself,its not cheap by any means. If I vacation to the lower 48 this year,I'll bring the seats back with me & won't be as $$$$$$
