Is it just me? The new server sure seems sluggish. Sometimes I have to stop the browser and refresh to get the whole page.

You're not the only one... all day today it seems very slow. I sometimes get the bar on the browser showing it's half way loaded and then it sits for while before sending the last half. I also have gotten a few pages where it didn't load the whole page and I had to refresh.

I'm thinking some of my problem is the heat - My computer is starting to slow down too. This dang A/C can't keep up, with the utiltiy turning it off every 15 minutes or so!

Ain't the server...

Its something between you and the server. Using www.traceroute.org, I show that the server connection is screaming.

Please, in the future, trace the route, call your ISP or check out the news before blaming TDR (though I know that's a hobby for some). Remember, there was recently a major internet pipeline that just got burnt up in a tunnel.

In Baltimore for those that are wondering. Due to a train derailment and a lil hazmat. The site is fast for me but I am on cable. Although since the derailment AOL has been a pain to try and use from time to time.

Yeah, there were 2 fiber conduits in that tunnel on the wall, i used to look at them and think "it would be BAD if a train derailed in here"

Admin must have derailed that train to keep people from clogging the TDR server:D

I must have caught Ken sleeping this morning. There are 47 members and 70 guests on TDR at the moment and the forums are working fine.

What's with these 70 guests? Comeon guys, spend your $35 and get signed up! I want to see what you've got to say! :)

A guest isn't nessacarly a non member... ... it could be members who are just not logged in. :D

well... at any rate Kat - Those 70 are not posting, if they aren't logged in. POST POST POST! These other guys are starting to bore me! :D
