I got to read about the new Mustang in a car magazine at the doc's office the other day. Hmmm 500 hp, plenty of torque, not a bad looking sled in that white / blue stripe trim. So are any of you boys gonna be driving one? Are they actually available, or will there be a very few built and years-long waiting list?

And in the meantime DC,

Where the heck is my hemi Challenger?

My truck payments will be done by the time the challenger comes out... ... ... .

If there is an SRT-8 6 speed as I've read... ... ohh yes I will have one :)

Thats one sweet ride, who would have ever thought they would be so much better than the old ones. I had a 68 GT500, wished I still had it but the new one is more safe, gets better mpg and has better performance.

The viper is up to 600hp eh? bout time. The viper should be at 750-800hp N/A. . Then again, that much power for a production car wouldn't fly well with insurance. . :)

1HP per CI is the rule in gasser land right? :)

SVT F150,

2004 cobra,

GT

07 shelby.

Apparently the PSD needs 2 turbos' to do the work.

The old 7. 3's needs to be just HUGE to compete :)

That's all I can come up with at 4:30am :)

It's just funky how every recent production ford needed some help vs. the competition within the class.

Matt400, what car is that motor in?

For the money a new Shelby GT500 costs, I'd be much happier with a Roush stage 2. Since the Stage 3 is a low production, high cost car, I figure buying a (relatively) cheaper Stage 2 and installing the supercharger kit myself will net me the same car as a Stage 3, minus the low production glamour that costs another 15,000 bucks.

The new Mustangs are nice cars.

My buddies new zo6 electrics are pretty glitchy, but still real cool ride.

The Rust-tang might be the only product I`d still buy from Ford.

I don't know if anyone remembers in the '60's Hertz came out with a Shelby you could rent from them. Well they brought them back for '07 with a Shelby 350 H, black with gold stripes, just like in the '60's. They're supposed to be available at major Hertz rental locations.

They are available. I seen them on my last trip to North Carolina. $300/day to rent tho.
