03 5.9 needs new shocks. Almost 150,000 miles on original shocks. (I think)
Mostly highway use looking for good ride not performance. Very little towing
Almost everything is original as far as I know (bought it with 85,000 miles) added a couple minor changes, exhaust, air flow etc.
Bilstiens or ???

NO need for the question mark after "Bilsteins" LOL!!!

Call Genos Garage and order either the 4600 HD if your truck is stock height or the 5100 series if you might want to level it later.

You will be AMAZED at the improvement in ride quality and handling and wonder why you didn't do it a LONG time ago!!!

Everything he said. Plus I will add that if your truck is a 4x4, purchase a Bilstein steering damper while you are at it.

I put the 5100's on mine 10 years or so ago. I didn't like how the rear of the pick-up felt like it was "dribbling" the back axle over railroad tracks or bumpy roads. The 5100's took care of that! Bilstein!

Glad they worked for you. On my truck the tail end still kicks out on bumpy roads even with the 5100's. Doing brakes the other day I saw one of the front 5100's is coated in oil (which isn't cause for warranty replacement according to Bilstein's website).

To the OP, shocks are only going to do so much, the rest of the suspension is still the same. Bilsteins are good shocks, just do not have overly high expectations because of all the glowing reviews.
