2015 Ram 3500 4wd short box 68RFE trans. Just had new shocks put in my truck. Installed were Rancho 5000 series sub # 5269. Want your opinions of these shocks. Have noticed a noticed rough ride in the rear. Original shocks were OEM's. Just changed them after 45,000 miles, including a towing trip through Alaska and towing to Florida twice. Has anyone else experienced a rough ride using this shock ?? Trying to remember my time with Bilsteins installed in years past. Thanks ,roger

Yeah I had them for about 500 miles and went to fox 2.0 shocks as they were rough to me.

You might have been better off with the Rancho 7 way adjustable shocks, had a set on my last diesel truck a 2004 Ford F350 long bed.
at least they gave 7 choices on what setting to ride around on.

So the 2015 gas shocks OEM, had their failed? If I change my shocks, it will be adjustable Rancho 9000 on the rear and 5000 on the front. I had that on the 2001.5 and it was great to turn them down while running bobtail. SnoKing

Bilstein 5100’s. Had those on 2 trucks, 4600’s on another. Got 5100’s because of leveling kit and may go Thuren or Carli someday (...but may need new shocks by then!!)
