I got it from Dave Smith in Kellogg, ID. I couldn't find a 6-speed around here. I am glad I went to Idaho; they have lots of stock.

I saved about $3000 and got another $3000 in rebates.

Has anyone found a good way to mount a couple of gauges?

Glen,

Congrats on your new rig! In regard to gauge installation, do a search on "gauges", or "gauge installation" and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. Most guys go with the A pillar mount. I had an A pillar mount w/EGT, Trans temp, and Boost gauges in my 2001. That set up worked well for me.

Good luck and again, congrats! -Ken

Glen,

No, I don't have gauges in my new truck... . yet! I'll probably go with the A pillar mount again w/ egt, boost and trans temp. I really like the new Di Pricol's and the way they match the stock gauge cluster.

I don't want to pillar mount my gauges. They are an intrusion in that great view from the new cab. The steering column mount looks better but what about tilting the wheel. I mounted the gauges on my 2001 on a plate that replaced the ashtray; OK but not too easy to read.

I am thinking about using the space on each side of the steering wheel. The gauges will be hard to see but I don't really use them for driving. I mostly use my EGT gauge to monitor engine cooldown. The boost gauge is a toy; it is fun to see how much power it takes to climb these hills.

Glen,

I only spaced my steering column down about 3/16 inch and installed my mount. I can tilt it fully up or down. I originally had it spaced about 5/16 and couldn't tilt it all the way up with out the access panel being pried open. If you don't lower it at all you can tilt it just fine you just loose a little more visibility of you dash/
