Thanks for bringing that up Matt! I need to call and see if it out yet. At SEMA I was playing with that thing several times, will be a welcome addition to my '03! IIRC, should be out by the end of this month.

Does it look strong enough to take a hit? Even with my suspension and 35" tires I have drug the bumper a bit.

Put my weight on it and bounced around on it a bit, seemed to be rock solid to me. Thing I really liked is the step itself is a decent size, so you don't have to worry about doing a balancing act on it to use it. If you can reach under the bumper to lower it and lift your foot to raise it back up, it is very easy to use.

It looks like there is enough of a lip to push it down with your foot, did you find that you had to lower it with your hand?

Nope, foot did it!

I was looking at some new Fords the other day and they have a step that comes out of the tailgate. I thought that was really sharp.



All I do now is lift my leg up on the bumper, or climb up on the tire to get in the bed, though I bed when I'm 50 years old it won't be that easy.
